Arnie Alpert, co-host of American Friends’ Service Committee’s State House Watch radio show, prepared a special holiday edition featuring an extended excerpt of Martin Luther King, Jr’s ‘Give Us the Ballot’ speech from 1957, and of Arnie himself recollecting the 20 year struggle to establish a Martin Luther King Jr. holiday in New Hampshire.
