Arnie’s guests on today’s show are: Harold Meyerson, Editor at Large of the American Prospect, and Matt Stoller, the author of a piece from Wired, titled: Covid-19 Will Mark the End of Afflucene Politics.  Today’s part one of the show is about the article Meyerson wrote, called: Debate becomes Cacophony or Why Can’t Bernie Get Cuba right?  In part one, Arnie and Harold discuss the debate.  Harold’s daughter said, “What is this?” in reference to the recent debate.  Elizabeth Warren doesn’t have political skills, said Arnie.  Bloomberg should read his own publication, Bloomberg Business Week.  Bloomberg sued for pregnancy claims at Bloomberg News.  Women filed complaints against pregnancy leave claims.  Pete, directly takes on Bernie.  Pete and Bernie talk over each other the most at the Democratic debate.  Bernie has a 1960’s mindset.  At the break, Labor History and Climate Connections plays, right after is the song, “The world is going wrong.” By Mississippi Sheiks.  Part Two is about Covid-19 with guest, Matt Stoller.  China makes our medicines.  What happens with shortages?  A good book from 1958, titled: From production to consumption.  Last time we had a breakdown, in 1929 and 1931, starvation happened.  We need a workable program of reconstruction, said President Roosevelt.  How do you survive, when we don’t make our own stuff, said Arnie.  Fear is in every sector of the economy, said Stoller.  We still make things, said Chancellor Merkel of Germany.  Covid-19 has made things go halt in China, said Arnie.  Closing song is: Sam Cooke’s, “Don’t know much about History.”
