Part 1:
We talk with Anna Nagurney, Eugene M. Isenberg Chair in Integrative Studies, U Mass Amherst. We discuss how infrastructure has to be addressed as a an issue in networks: infrastructure consists of networks of all kinds. Part 2: We talk with Sarah Butrymowicz, a contributor to the Hechinger Report, and Meredith Kolodner, Senior investigative reporter for the Hechinger Report, about how for-profit colleges are linked to "loan servicers" who offer college loans to students. This is a mostly unregulated practice, and and many students are caught up in this, often with huge debt, and no diplomas. For-profit colleges are often more expensive than alternatives.
