David Rosen critically explores American history, public policy, media, technology and sexuality.He is the author of three books on American social history We talk to him about the team of Clarence Thomas and Virginia Thomas. She is very active in far-right causes and organizations. He, too, spends time with right-wing autocrats. She is often involved in issues that come before the Supreme Court, and he has made no moves to recuse himself from those cases. We can predict what rulings will come from the court when we see what Virginia Thomas is involving herself in. The is no code of ethics for the Supreme Court. Noam Lupu is Associate Professor of Political Science and Associate Director of LAPOP Lab at Vanderbilt University. We discuss with him the diminishing support for democracies in the Americas, including the US.There are many reasons for this, which include things like lack of trust in public officials, lack of confidence in elections, polarization, etc. There is some variation between the US and Canada, but US residents are close to Latin America in their opinions.
