We talk with Scott Braddock about the Republican Party of Texas convention. This is a very large party, but this year, attendance seems to be lower than in past years. There is no fight for the chair’s seat. The governor (Abbott) is not scheduled to appear, and the conversation is about uncomfortable topics: Roe ruling, the Texas powergrid, Uvalde shootings, and Beto O’Rourke said to be within striking distance in the gubernatorial election. Part 2: We talk with Alex Sammon and Bill Curry about Ginni Thomas and Clarence Thomas, and their actions preceding January 6. the “Luci and Desi of Fascism in America” have been very active on behalf of the Trump election deniers. There is no peace plan for Ukraine, even as more money and weapons are being sent there. The corrupt schools that defrauded students will not be held responsible by the Dept. of Education, and their leaders are not being prosecuted.
