Segment One
We start with Jasper Craven. He covering military and veterans' issues about the Veterans Administration, which is under attack by far right factions. The VA is an example of the most accountable health care in the world, and a leader in providing good, holistic health care. This should be more obvious and well known. Segment Two: We then catch up with Ava Kofman, part of a of team of ProPublica reporters who are reporting on the "cancer alley" in the US, where many industrial polluters are located. The cluster of illnesses and cancers among people living in these locations is undeniable, but companies are not being overseen properly by the EPA.
