We talk with Scott Braddock, the Voice of Texas, Editor of the Quorum Report, about Texas issues. Our first topic is the case of a mother who was convicted of murdering her 2 year old child. Her execution was stayed, pending additional investigation.
We also discuss the problems raised by Gov. Abbott’s posting of National Guard personnel to the border, and not supplying them with equipment for their safety. A member of the Guard drowned because no equipment, long requested was available. There have been multiple deaths of such personnel. So far, $5B has been spent in this effort, to no result. Beto O’Rourke is making progess against Abbott. Rick Perry is connected to the Jan. 6 riots, and Mark Meadows.
We talk with Bob Hennelly and Bill Curry about recent advances that unionization has made in the US. Many of these advances are grass roots efforts. We also discuss how the Democrats should embrace the unions, because these are the base for the Democratic Party. We feature an interview with Sara Nelson.
