We speak with Prof. Joerg Rieger, Distinguished Professor of Theology at Vanderbilt University about reparations needed for historically enslaved people. Any labor advances should be made due to correcting the imbalance between employers and those employed. Enslavement has distorted the relationship between employer and employed, and that relationship should be corrected on that basis.
We have a conversation with Prof. Patricia A. O'Brien, a historian at Georgetown University. We talk about the U.S. relationship to indigenous people. We also discuss China's importance today in the Pacific has grown, and how the US, Australian, and New Zealand alliance has been affected, and will likely be affected in the future, as a result.
