Actual farmers are being squeezed by large integrators like Cargill and Continental Grain, who control the process of raising chickens from eggs and to processing. They control the choice of chickens, the feed and its supply, and the farm infrastructure. Farmers have lost control, and end up being 'employees' of the integrators.
