We talk with Prof. Beverly Moran about the "best tax haven in the world", the US. The US education systems trains us to believe that the rich pay a lot of taxes, when we should be looking not at the stated income tax rate, but at the effective tax rate. Earned income is taxed at much higher rates than investment income.
We talk with Derek Muller, professor at Iowa Law School, about the new voting regulations being enacted in many states. Some see these as curtailing the right to vote. Muller's opinion is contrary to that, as he sees the new regulations as mostly returning us to the pre-pandemic state with respect to voting.
