For #54, we played the brief fanfare “The Eagle has Two Heads” by Benjamin Britten, written in 1946 for Jean Cocteau’s play of the same name.
Benjamin Britten was a student of Gustav Holst; we played Holst’s “The Planets” for the rest of the show. John Dowland’s Galliard called Mignarda, played by Joseph Bacon.
