Part One: Electric cars. Switching to electric vehicles could save the US billions, but fewer than 2% of vehicles Americans buy are electric. As the demand increases (and it will) the grid will face new demands. We speak with Dr. Todd Davidson of the Energy Institute at the University of Texas at Austin about an infrastructure study they did. The impact of electric vehicles will depend on where you live, and this study digs deep. (It’s pretty amazing!)

Part Two: It’s our weekly visit to the doctor, Dr. Politics – Steffen Schmidt of Iowa State U. Topics include the blatant power grab in Wisconsin, ranked choice voting, Ross Perot, educating voters on policy issues, election fraud in N. Carolina, the future of democracy – and more.
